The Cosmopolitan’s donation will directly benefit ADL’s No Place for Hate Program

  

LAS VEGAS (March 8, 2021) – Anti-Defamation League Nevada (ADL) is grateful to be the recipient of $100,000 donation from The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. The grant will help support ADL Nevada’s education initiatives for K-12 students including No Place for Hate, a signature bullying prevention framework implemented by more than 25 schools across the region reaching more than 30,000 students.

 

“We are honored to be partnering with the Anti-Defamation League in support of their education programming initiatives into 2021,” said Daniel Espino, Chief People Officer of The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. “Diversity and inclusion efforts remain a pivotal piece of The Cosmopolitan’s DNA, and an integral part of our core values. We look forward to integrating these supportive resources provided by ADL not only into our Cosmopolitan workplace culture, but far and wide throughout our Las Vegas community.”

 

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will be recognized as the lead corporate partner of the Anti-Defamation League Nevada’s (ADL) education programming for 2021.  As lead corporate sponsor of ADL Nevada’s educational programming, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will:

  • Support ADL Nevada’s work to engage as many schools as possible in the No Place for Hate initiative.
  • Allow ADL Nevada to offer subsidized education programming to Clark County School District, other districts across the state and charter schools, especially when a need arises at a school.
  • Expand ADL Nevada’s ability to deepen community partnerships through the delivery of education programming and anti-bias trainings at peer organizations such as Core Academy, Girls and Boys Club, and others.
  • Become the named sponsor of ADL Nevada’s “Imagine A World Without Hate” poster contest for elementary, middle, and high school students, and sponsor of Clark County School District’s Week of Respect.
  • Become the lead sponsor of ADL Nevada’s annual Walk Against Hate event for 2021.
