Hazak (Hebrew for “strong”) is ADL’s first-of-its-kind grassroots accelerator: A six-month program for community-based advocates who are ready to fight antisemitism more effectively, more quickly and with greater impact.

Through Hazak, trusted leaders gain ADL-informed tools, training, guidance and networks that help them strengthen the work they are already doing, with the support of one of the most recognized organizations in the fight against antisemitism.

Unlike a one-time training, Hazak is designed for lasting impact. With around-the-clock support from a full-time team, fellows build a stronger advocacy toolkit, gain deeper access to ADL expertise and join a peer network of like-minded leaders committed to combating antisemitism. Fellows also receive support from ADL advisors on real organizational growth and scaling needs.

And when the six months are over, fellows do not simply graduate. They become part of a lasting alumni network of leaders across sectors.

Hazak is more than a program – it is an impact accelerator and a sustained partnership.

Why this Matters and Why ADL is Investing in Grassroots Leaders

Grassroots leaders are often the most credible voices in the fight against antisemitism, with the local relationships, sector expertise and community trust needed to drive change. Yet many are doing this work without the infrastructure, resources or strategic support required to scale their impact.

ADL is investing in Hazak to bridge the gap between local action and national expertise.

Through a platform approach rooted in grassroots mobilization and empowerment, Hazak equips trusted leaders to be more effective in their own communities, so together we can maximize impact in the fight against antisemitism.
